About the Donkey-Centaur who built a Palace:
Dialogue 93

Donkey-Centaur - part donkey, part human - had a most beautiful palace built for him: and, trusting entirely in his own judgment, he refused to listen to the advice of the architect, saying "I am wise and ingenious - don't come trying to teach me what to do, it's going to be done the way I want".

Of course, when the palace was finished, it just collapsed and fell to the ground in ruins, because it was neither well-founded nor well-made. The donkey-centaur was covered in confusion, and, having lost everything, lamented

Ille cito se dissolvit

qui per doctos se non movit

- "He is soon ruined, who is not advised by the learned"
