As to my own contribution, I was trying something I hadn't done before - not only to give a multi-media presentation, but to enhance its impact by integrating it with interactive elements.

It took three hours of technician-time for us to find a combination of resolution and refresh-rate which would work with their projector; but after that it went like a dream, and lots of people said they'd no idea it was possible to do that kind of thing.
