I was invited to present at the April 1999 conference of the Society for Affective Effective Learning at the University of Warwick.

Dagmar was able to take an Easter holiday, and since she'd only been to England once before, it was she who got to make the choice between visiting friends or exploring new places.

The result was a journey to a Britain I'd heard about but didn't know: East Anglian and Mercian lowlands, Penine uplands, Scots Lowlands, Highlands and Islands - 'The Other Britain'...
