Booking information

Accommodation will be allocated

on a first-come-first-served basis when payment is received in full. Bedrooms in The King's School are basic one-, two- or three-bedded rooms without en suite facilities. There are en suite rooms in Christchurch Canterbury University College, four minutes' walk from The King's School. As far as possible everyone will be fed at The King's School, but priority will be given to those living in the school. Others may be asked to eat at Christchurch. There is plenty of hotel and bed & breakfast accommodation nearby if you prefer to make your own arrangements. We recommend that you book early.

The 3-day package includes

all meals and refreshments (excluding bar) from Thursday afternoon tea to Sunday tea. The Fri-Sun package runs from 9.00 am Friday to Sunday tea. Sunday night accommodation for the post-conference workshops includes Sunday dinner and breakfast and lunch on Monday.

Special dietary requirements

Please state specifically what you can or cannot eat, eg 'no meat or fish'; 'no pork or beef (chicken and fish OK)'. (NOT 'vegetarian' please).

Discounts

Members of IATEFL, DGSL, NEAL, NIEALIO, CNS, SOHL and IAL are entitled to a 10% discount from the Non-SEAL conference rate, refundable at the conference.
There are a small number of student/young person concessions available - please contact the conference office.

Certificates of attendance

must be requested in advance when booking.

Pre- and post-conference workshops

can also be booked at the conference.

Cancellation

- before 29 Jan - 30% of total value of booking will be retained.
- before 28 Feb - 50% of total value of booking will be retained.
- after 28 Feb - 75% of total value of booking will be retained.
We strongly advise you to take out insurance cover against possible cancellation.
