Basically a computer is good att calculating everything its people ask it to calculate.

More recently people have started to teach it to show pretty pictures on a screen and so make its possibilities accessible in a more people-friendly way - it makes a pretty good job of that, too , but to do so takes many times more capacity than the calculations themselves.
