For a colleague in Boulder, Colorado, I'm testing a program which is designed to foster a more healthy lifestyle, with regular excercise etc.
But however stilmulating, and howver they realise the life's potential, the worldwide network of human contacts, it seems that the computer itself can hardly lead to sounder physical health. Movement, conversation, hugs - it easy for these to get missed out in life with a computer. I guess we need to build in our physical breaks ourselves.
It can't brew coffee either. But that's just because the demand hasn't been there - up to now: and there is a little gadget whch keeps your coffee hot from the computer's power supply.
