- and that's only a tiny proportion of the real-world possibilities - and found most set-ups showed the page background and Photoshop's graphic color as the same: and, at least with a screen showing thousands of colors, every set-up showed OS8's beige as different from the others.
What happened as I made it, was that Photoshop said that OS8's web-safe beige wasn't 255.204.153 at all, but 255.215.174, a difference of nearly 3% in the greens and 4% in the blues: OS8 didn't like Photoshop's web-safe beige either, and called it F6BF80, or 246.191.128 - differences of 2% in the reds, nearly 3% in the greens, and 5% in the blues...
Not exactly surprising that the colors don't melt into one another between the graphic and the page background...
So is the OS8 picker doing something wrong? It's hard to think so, but what's the explanation?
