"A couple of years ago I spent two or three months as a street musician on the streets of Washington DC. I hauled my classical guitar and amplifier down to the Dupont Circle neighborhood and had great fun playing for passersby.But the traffic noise was too much for me to compete with. So I took my street music to the Internet to share with a few million close friends. "I have a sense that the world is moving in the direction of a New Renaissance, where anyone with creativity they want to share will be able to share it with as broad an audience as is interested in their work. I fully expect to see a flourishing of creative expression on a scale never before seen in the history of human affairs. It will be good, and it will come directly from the creators to your house.
