From
one of the grave plaques we learn
of pastor Adolf Fredrik Dreijer, whose
life was spent in the maritime communities
of the Swedish Baltic area and spanned
the greater part of the 19th century.
Previously
chaplain in Vårdö, Åland
(the islands between the Swedish and
Finnish mainlands), he was the pastoral
leader of the Runö congregation
from the mature age of 54, and died
there aged 75.
