Sounds crazy, doesn't it? Specially when I seem to have had almost no income.
I was happy enough to be able to start with the very cheapest second-hand things, black-and-white screen, a bit slow, but still fast enough for writing the word documents which I thought were the reason I was getting a computer...
But then Swedish Telecom sent round a very attractive offer of an internet connection with a modem, and that's how I got to know about - well, animations, recording sound, compiling multimedia presentations, voice e-mail, internet phone, video conferencing... Of course most people who are working with those things aren't on a low budget, but by keeping your eyes open it's possible to pick up a few bargains here and there...
