Grammar - 2 of 2

In some suggestopedic classrooms. the grammar sessions are a kind of interlude in the course. The teacher, in a fairly professorial manner, gives intellectually coherent explanations of the grammatical rules. In other classrooms, the grammar sessions resemble activation phases, and are a continuation of the warm, happy, childlike atmosphere that characterizes the rest of the course.

In either case, systematic grammar explanations are followed by activities that are concrete illustrations of these points. The rhythm is: explanation, illustration-game, explanation, illustration-game, etc.
