In
addition to the kinds of activities described above, systematic
use is made of authentic materials. Examples are
menus, tourist guidebooks, road maps, and joke books.
Special games requiring these supports are played. Adaptation
phases often end with little skits that the students,
in groups of two, three, or four, prepare and then perform
before the others.
