The content
of the dialogues - 1 of 5
Some
suggestopedic manuals (i.e., the specially written dialogues)
follow a traditional grammatical progression, while
others are more "functional-notional" in approach.
Some
spread the grammar out evenly over the entire course,
while others load up the first part of the curriculum
with almost all the new grammar, reserving the last two
weeks of the course for the assimilation of what has already
been presented, for new exploitations of this material,
and for the introduction of more vocabulary and idioms.
In
short, as far as specific linguistic content and progression
is concerned, there would appear to be as many different
schools of thought within the world of Suggestopedia as
there are in the entire field of teaching.
