All
these investigations leave me completely obsessed
by the thought that I have to have my own
copy of Illustrator ... and just at that moment
the Dustin catalogue for December arrives,
as if the gods have intervened, and there
it is - the Adobe Publishing collection:
-
Photoshop 7 - which I went to a seminar
on in Östersund a month ago and want in a
vague kind of way ...
-
& Illustrator 10
-
and PageMaker 7
-
AND Acrobat 5 (editor)
...
a clip at 'only' $1.400 ...
Of
course Photoshop 5 still does everything I
want and a whole lot more, I don't even use
v.6 though I could; of course I've already
got Acrobat 5 editor through my work for the
local college, and the only use I have for
paper publishing is for a local magazine I
do, and the printer they use for that is perfectly
happy with the PageMaker 6.5 I have ...
One
very nice feature of the later versions
of Illustrator, Photoshop and ImageReady
is the 'save for the web' palette:
