The pen tool

The pen tool is the basic tool of vector graphics, if you want to do something yourself and have control over the result.

The illustrations in the previous section, of the various elements and characteristics of vector graphics, were made with the pen tool:

In some programmes there is a separate, but similar tool called the bezigon tool, which creates a combination of bezier curves and a polygon.
