Tartans:
Ancient Buchanan

In Estonia you don't see much in the way of tartans except the really bright ones you see everywhere; Dagmar is fond of a skirt she has like that, though I'm afraid when she wears it I can only see that she looks like an Edinburgh school-girl...

Actually we did see some really gorgeous plaids in muted colours, not at all the usual thing; and we were all set to buy one except that the lady in the imitation kilt said they'd been made specially for a museum exhibition and they didn't have any to sell.

So the next-best thing was the range of 'antique' tartans, like this Buchanan, which is still pretty nice.
