To convert visual colours into the numerical value which
the computer needs
- you have several possibilities
- with freewares or sharewares like Pixel Spy and ColorFinder
you can click an eye-dropper on the colour and read off the
numbers
- with a system color wheel, or palette in a graphics program
like FreeHand or Photoshop, you can read off the numbers for each
color as you choose it
- with a program like PhotoDeluxe you can click on any colour on
your screen to bring it into the program's palette, then you can
access the system's colour palette and read off the numbers
