And I began to realise it just as I had my 50th birthday - a very significant rebirth, a fulfilling and promising start to the second half of a life...

• my early gurus in northern Sweden - Keith, Hans, Bo and Dave - tided me over many a desperate moment:
• the irreplaceable Lydia in Tallinn helps me think so that I can solve my own problems, and even be a minor guru for one or two other people...
• all the shareware authors, who give so generously of their time and knowledge, from whom one can learn so much - and whom one can admire until the end of time...
