with the Mac system 8 which they sent me was actually marked "Demonstration purposes only", and was intended for internal Apple & Claris distribution only - interesting! As well as an animated tutorial, it include a l-o-n-g - 136 Mb - movie giving a view of Apple's operating system strategy, "Apple confidential" until (last) July, when the system 8 was released... The next revolution is to build into the operating system all the stuff which is common to a lot of different programs - but which programmers at the moment are writing over and again - so that programs can be very much smaller and more efficient.

All rather exciting, and very inspiring...
