Dale in Michigan said "By all means get a more up-to-date set-up as an improvement on the quality of life, but don't expect it to pay for itself economically": and I went along with that for a while. Then came the offer to work as an internet tutor for Mid-Sweden University, which I could only do if I had a reliable set-up, so everything seemed to fall into place and feel right.
Now I start every day with this wonderful feeling that I've got the tools I need to do a worthwhile job, and the skills to use them: and they include the potential for enormous development, too - the problem is the time to explore all the possibilities... or even some of them!
