Vector
graphics have long been used for cartoons and
other animations: but in the last few years,
the Flash format has brought this kind of work
within the reach of everyone - if you can't
afford Macromedia's or Adobe's prices, there
are budget alternatives too, discussed in the
chapter on programmes.
Here's
one of my favourites, because it says so much
in so little: it's waiting for you to click
on it, in case it's not obvious ... If you'd
like to see it larger or smaller, after you've
clicked on the image alongside here, you can
re-size the window which pops up and then
chose refresh/reload (usually cmnd+R or ctrl+R).
