Bread & cheese and an international waste-paper basket
|
David takes a break and makes us toasted sandwiches in the oven, with a delicious cheese which, it turns out later, is organic and five years matured. After that we go to the shop.
From the outside David looks like a completely ordinary person who buys bread and reads with glasses, but actually he's the only one - exceptional and unique. He knows himself that he's special: it was said without pride nor to promote himself, but simply because it's true.
In the Internet David sees a possibility to reach new students and perhaps even to find new jobs.
"Someone has said that the InterNet is just a big international waste-paper basket"
says David about this wonder-web.
"My first experiences were not very positive. It's extraordinary what you can read there. For instance, looking for 'Busses in Norway' I got 16,475 'answers' within 2.5 seconds, and fifth on the list in order of relevance was 'Cycle tours in Denmark'. Goodness me! So what on earth are the other 16,470? - it's totally absurd!"
But in spite of that David is sure that there are useful things there too, even if it can be difficult to find them.
