David's ideas may seem unusual, sometimes even scarcely understandable for some people, because he is a man of feelings. Yet he is not a bohemian - on the contrary, he is a very systematic person who expresses himself only after a lot of thought...
David Kettlewell was born in England, lives in Sweden and at the moment is a guest-professor at Tartu University's Arts Centre. He is educated in the fields of management, music and music history.
Actually, music isn't work for David but a part of his life-style. When he has to write a profession in documents, he usually puts down half-a-dozen, because he also teaches - amongst all other things also teacher training, which includes the wholistic attitude towards the student - edits old musical manuscripts and prints, writes, paints, writes in calligraphy and so on.
