This particular very-long-distance train is run by a small independent company based up here in northern Sweden; they're making a much better job of it than the state railway company did when they had it, and it's rather exciting to read in the train magazine about all the plans and developments which are under way ...

Sitting opposite me is a young Chinese lady with her Swedish husband, they're on their back from a foray into China to see what work possibilities they could find there, bound for Luleå in the far north where they both study and where they met...

Remarkable, a Japanese travelling companion on the way out, a Chinese one on the way back ...

And indeed the day after I arrive home, I have a visit from an English guy living and working in China, who's come to Sweden specially to meet Lonny and to learn about how Suggestopedia works ...

But that's another story, of course.
