According to my plan A, and my booked tickets, I still have another 11 hours of travelling left, four hours waiting at the airport, six-and-a-half hours sitting up on the evening train, and then half-an-hour by car home from the station ...

Actually there is an earlier train leaving soon, but it's a special X-2000 express - X as in Xpensive: three times the price I've paid for the normal train. I could fly and be home in a hour or so, but the cost of that ticket is twice what I paid for the whole journey Stockholm-Athens ...

So I have a look at the hand-held computers they're plugging in two of the airport shops, neither of them is working and in neither of them can the assistant show me what the thing really does; so I take a demo CD of each to enjoy at home and am glad that I have my Mac laptop iBook, even with a damaged cable ...
