Well, OK, the ruined city is just a few bits of stone foundation, and bits of wall which might have once been a royal palace: it might just as easily have been a coastguard's spyhole, or a shepherd's cottage, or indeed anything.

The whole is pointlessly fenced off on just one side, so it doesn't keep anyone out, just means that you have to walk the long way round to get in ...

The palm-grove is rather odd: a nature reserve a kilometre long and 100 metres wide, in a kind of gulley running from the road down to the sea, and a great car park at the bottom with the hibernating remains of a great range of summer activities which hardly seem appropriate to a nature reserve or a palm grove - hot-dog stalls, hiring of pedalos, the diving club, and all the rest.
