An internet pee and tap-water

I look into a small church, there's a man crying there, a priest goes up to him, puts a hand on his shoulder, it could have been a supportive gesture, but this was from in front and feels repressive, he's evidently intending to talk the man into his right mind, a very unpleasant atmosphere ...

Just into the modern part of the town I come across an internet café, where I'm welcome to use the loo ... the owner says he's there from 8 am till midnight every day ... and directs me to a rather boring modern eating place on the main high street where they do a big plateful of the most delicious gyros (thick slices of lamb done at a vertically-mounted gas-fired grill) for only 45:- SKr / 5 USD, and are happy to serve me tap-water with it.

Is it just because I'm English and live in Sweden that I will do almost anything rather than pay money to drink water? But after a few days I'm in there buying plastic bottles of delicious spring water like the rest of them.
