Capital Scots

As I was saying, cheek-by-jowl with the vendeurs of 10-year-old whisky from one of the eight distilleries on the Isle of Islay, these stately edifices remind us of the unifying influence of the great British architectural tradition.

No-one can argue with that, at least? We even saw them in the wilds of the Hebrides...

It's very confusing trying to try to work out what is specially Scots and what is generally British. All the decisions are made in Brussels now anyway...
