We were lucky to catch a Royal Shakespeare Company performance at an affordable price in The Swan, a reconstructed Shakespearean theatre in Stratford.

But I have to say the play was garbage! - a modern version of the worst of Ovid's tales of incest, rape and other violent misuse of power, with no redeeming features...
