I wonder if everyone but me knew that there now seems to be an Oxford dictionary for a language called 'American' ... at least, Tiger, the new version 4 of Macintosh Operating System OS X (X = 10) includes something called New Oxford American Dictionary ['The ...' maybe] .

It's in the programme called 'Dictionary' (so absurd to use generic words as names for specific things, apart from anything else it makes it impossible to search for references to it later on) which also gives access to an Oxford American Writers Thesaurus (and is it only me that would have expected Oxford to have put an apostrophe in there somewhere?).
